pause

well i hope that everyone enjoys these last few pictures and the commentary that follows because as of right now this blog is temporarily deceased. due to a string of unfortunate events and some idiotic decision making by yours truly i have spent the last week in the greater new york/new jersey area trying to figure out what the hell just happened. one thing i can say is that after a week of being held hostage by indians in a hotel room it sure was nice to get through customs at jfk and take a deep breath of that fresh american air as i walked from the steps of penn station.

there is no way that this story can be justified on this blog for a variety of reasons, post traumatic stress and legality issues being the two that come to mind first. much like my life, this trip has taken the course of a roller coaster, severe dips in both directions. the ending was by far the scariest thing that i have ever gone through but it has has given me a new lease on life and a stronger appreciation for all of the intangibles that we so very often take for granted. being free is one good example.

for all of you that frequented this site, i greatly appreciate your support and love knowing that i was able to entertain you in some way or another. these last few months have been better than i could have ever expected, they have taught me much about life and my heart has been touched in truly amazing ways. though the trip is over for now, dont count me out completely. where there is a will there is a way.

And You Will Find the Way -- your way!!
So sorry for the scary glitch in your journey, but selfishly I hope you continue your quest because I have enjoyed your blogs and photos so much. Cannot wait to see the sketches, drawings, paintings, scupltures, etc. resulting from your memories.
No matter what has happened, I continue to admire you for your exploring and your kind openness. And thanks for the "sky painting" photo. DD
