when i present indentification to authorites they refer to me as sir. when i enter a store of my convenience, employees stand to greet me. i have been confused as the why all of a sudden i have started to be treated not as an employee but rather as the boss. mustaches do request respect, they demand it. dad you would be so proud.

as mature as my exterior may be, the children of thailand have had no trouble at absolutely crushing me in connect 4 every night as we leave the bar. there must be a connect 4 prodigy conference going on in koh chang because these kids cannot be beaten. 1 baht a game which equates to about 4 cents, how can i refuse. i was beaten down in nine consecutive games by a boy no older than nine.

this place is truly incredible, i really don't want too many people to know how amazing this place is because i want so badly for it to remain the same until the next time i come back. paradise has never been so clear in my mind. the white sand beaches curve around these amazing rolling mountains of rain forest. it can be perfectly sunny on the beach and thunderstorms with wild lighting will be going off at the top of the island. please do yourself a favor and pencil this place in your life schedule.
