cricket is a stupid game. i am constantly surrounded by it and have spent time learning about it and how it is played. i have played the game and i have watched it on television. it is still a stupid game. it is like a combination of pickle and baseball with a big wide bat. the players wear outfits that look like they should be in a dockers commercial rather than a sports match. this is one game that i will never understand, it makes perfect sense that it is the favorite in this crazy place. while i am speaking of confused cultural differences i might as well tell you a little about indian fashion. the woman wear the most beautiful traditional clothing of the most incredible color combinations and elaborate patterns. the men on the other hand, look like they are all models for marshalls or ross dress for less but the year is 1999 and the clothing is on the sale table and has been on the sale table since 1996. super tight boulder washed jeans with embroibered dragons, terrible sleeveless hooded sweaters with brands like enyce spelled without an 'e' at the end. and dont forget the sunglasses, the corniest rock star gold aviators with obnoxious brand names hanging so largely off the sides of the glasses that hearing must surely be affected. forget malaria and rabies, consumerism is surley the most terrible disease in this country.
